Love this little girl

I think I'm up to 14 of the (at least) 17 Easter cards I want to send out. This little girl silhouette is certainly getting good mileage from me. She's so pretty and easy to work with, and I just love highlighting her hair bow and flowers. I think I love that her hair is probably kind of curly, but it could also just be a little bit unruly and windblown. Just like my hair back then. And now. And, unfortunately, my daughter's hair. In silhouette it looks really cute sometimes but most of the time we just look, as my husband puts it oh-so-gently (NOT!) . . . scruffy. And as much as I'd like to, I can't deny it. We're a scruffy bunch. I guess there are worse things in this world, but I'll be honest . . . when my 4 year old daughter yanks her best friend's honey blonde golden hair that flows silkily and remarkably un-knotted all the way down her back, I kinda get where she's coming from :-)
